You’ve got braces … and we’re excited to help you throughout this smile journey! Thank you for choosing us!
Here’s a few tips to help you throughout the process.
First, take the time to do a quick exam of your braces each and every day. It’s easiest to do it right after you brush your teeth. You will just want to make sure the latches (doors) on the brackets are closed and that each one is bonded securely to your teeth. They are pretty high-tech little brackets and right now all that extra hardware in your mouth may feel a bit awkward. Don’t worry. Soon enough it will all become second nature and you’ll almost forget they are there. The great part about that is even though you forget about them, they’ll never forget about you and will be working 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help you achieve an amazing smile!
We want you to know all about your braces, how to take care of them properly, how to clean them, what foods to eat and what foods to avoid. We’ve created this short video that will guide you through the process, step-by-step. If you have concerns during your treatment, just refer to the link on our website titled “What to Do in an Orthodontic Emergency.” This page will be your “how to” guide during this smile journey. And if you ever have any additional questions or find yourself feeling a lot of discomfort, please feel free to give us a call! We are here to help!
